C.J. McCollum notched a double-double, scoring 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, to lead Lehigh over Saint Peter's 76-67 Wednesday night.
Holden Greiner added 19 points and Gabe Knutson 10 for the Mountain Hawks (10-4), who rebounded after dropping their last game to No. 16 Michigan State, 90-81 on Thursday. Lehigh has won four of its last five and 10 of 12.

Anne Marie Armstrong scored 19 points and led short-handed No. 17 Georgia to an 83-58 win over Furman on Wednesday night.
For the second straight game, Georgia (11-2) played without starting point guard Jasmine James, who sprained her right knee Dec. 20 in a win over Montana State.
Jasmine Hassell scored 15 points, Erika Ford 14 and Meredith Mitchell 12 for Georgia.
Janice Roberts led Furman (8-4) with 13 points.

B.J. Monteiro scored 28 points to lead Duquesne over Bowling Green 86-76 on Wednesday night.
Monteiro was 11 of 14 from the field for the Dukes (8-5), who finished shooting 52.5 percent (31 of 59). It was Duquesne's fourth straight win against the Falcons.
Bowling Green shot 53.6 percent from the field (30 of 56), but it turned it over 18 times. Duquesne scored 22 points off those turnovers. The Dukes proved significantly more efficient than the Falcons, turning it over seven times, while dishing out 24 assists.

Fab Melo had 12 points and 10 blocks, both career-highs, and No. 1 Syracuse stifled Seton Hall at every turn in a 75-49 victory Wednesday night in the Big East opener for both teams.
Syracuse (14-0, 1-0) gained control with a staunch defensive performance in the opening half in building a 34-15 lead.
Melo, who had his first career double-double, pulled in seven rebounds.

Bruce Ellington and Damien Leonard combined to make nine of South Carolina's season-high 11 3-pointers to lead the Gamecocks to a 57-45 victory over Wofford on Wednesday night.
Ellington scored a season-high 17 points in just his sixth game of the season and Leonard added 14 off the bench to pace South Carolina to its fourth victory in the last five games. The Gamecocks (6-6) lost five of their previous six before clawing back to .500 for the first time since the fourth game of the season.

Air Force's attempt at a 2-point conversion went awry with 52 seconds to play Wednesday, giving Toledo a 42-41 win in the Military Bowl.
Air Force lined up to kick the extra point after Zach Kauth's 33-yard touchdown catch pulled the Falcons within a point. But holder David Baska ran the option instead, and he was hit and fumbled the ball out of bounds.
Bernard Reedy's third touchdown of the game gave Toledo a 42-35 lead with 5:01 remaining. Reedy finished with a career-high 126 yards on four catches.

Both UCLA and Illinois have had seasons they would like to forget entering the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl on Saturday, but what the Fighting Illini did down the stretch was historic — and not in a good way.
The Fighting Illini started the season by winning its first six games, including a 17-14 win over then-No. 22 Arizona State, but lost its last six, with three coming against ranked teams.
