YUMA, Arizona (AP) — Inspectors have found small, subsurface cracks in three more Southwest Airlines planes that are similar to those suspected of causing a jetliner to lose pressure and make a harrowing emergency landing in Arizona, a federal investigator said Sunday.Southwest said in statement that two of its Boeing 737-300s had cracks and will be evaluated and repaired before they are returned to service. A National Transportation Safety Board member told The Associated Press later Sunday that a third plane had been found with cracks developing.

The U.S. agreed to NATO's request for a 48-hour extension of American participation in coalition airstrikes against targets in Libya and U.S. lawmakers cautioned Sunday that the allies need to know more about the rebels fighting Moammar Gadhafi's forces before providing them with weapons.
Two weeks into the assault on Gadhafi, Republican lawmakers expressed concern that a stalemate could leave him in control of portions of Libya and with access to stockpiles of chemical weapons.

Thousands of singing and dancing protesters streamed back into Manama's central Pearl Square on Saturday after Bahrain's leaders withdrew tanks and riot police following a bloody crackdown by security forces in the tiny monarchy.

President Barack Obama was greeted by state and local leaders Thursday night when he touched down at SFO, arriving in the Bay Area for a dinner with local business leaders in technology and innovation. Obama deplaned Air Force One after it touched down at 5:40 p.m. at San Francisco International Airport. He was greeted on the tarmac by San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, Lt. Gov.
